It’s been so long since I’ve been able to post anything on here, but for good reason! In mid-May Brett graduated from medical school, we got married the next day, went on a honeymoon to Jamaica, and then packed up all or possessions and drove across the country to Texas. It’s been quite the whirlwind!
I’m in the middle of unpacking the kitchen and can’t wait to start cooking again! Once I find my camera cord I’ll post some pictures from the honeymoon and move, but for now here are a few from the wedding.
The weather was beautiful and it was just such a lovely day. We couldn’t have been happier about the way things turned out, it was so much fun! All that hard work definitely paid off, thankfully 🙂

Our best man was quite the ham. He pretended to have lost the rings and pulled various things out of his pockets (including sunglasses and a long piece of rope) before “finding” the rings. He also took off his pants during his toast at the reception! He definitely helped to lighten the mood 🙂

Sar! I have to call you back to hear all about the honeymoon and exchange stories from the wedding. You were such a beautiful bride. I’m so hapy for you and Brett! I want to see some Texan BBQ recipes and then of course some food recipes to cool off in that hot weather! xoxo
